I tried to kill myself

I tried to kill myself last night,
I don't want to live like this anymore.
I don't want to live with my addictions and pain.
I don't want to live in a world so horrible.

Unfortunatly,
I didn't work,
I wish it had,
everything would be so much easier,
for everyone,
if it had.

Why didn't I try harder,
this was my chance,
It slipped from my grips,
I should have held on harder,
I should have cut deeper,
I should have taken more pills,
I should have tied the knot better,
I should have jumped from higher.
